TUPPENCE

It's the Coopers here just letting you know about the adorable cat Tuppence you gave us in mid 2005.

She is wonderful! We've just moved down to country Victoria and Tuppence has now grown a giant fur coat! She spends her days cuddled up in bed and getting into mischief. She had to go in a cattery until we arrived and we were surprised that she played with the other cats and even with the kittens! In fact, she was often left alone with the kittens because they admired her so much. Tuppence has become a confident, outgoing cat who loves attention and meeting new people and she's now very vocal.

We're  grateful to have been blessed with such an amazing, beautiful cat,.

Tuppence is a fantastic pet and other families should realise that not just kittens can be adopted - full grown cats are just as amazing.

The Cooper Family, Victoria

BEAKER

Beaker chose us and has ruled the house ever since but we wouldn’t change him for the world. Vanessa and Brian love the cats and kittens they rescue and spend their own money making sure they are all loved and spoilt like their own.      Denise, Gordonvale

CLEO

Well it's been almost 4 months since Cleo came to live with us and we just wanted to let you know that she has settled in beautifully and we absolutely love her! She is just the most loving cat, and from the day we adopted her she  has given us nothing but joy. She took no time at all settling in and now pretty much runs the entire house. Cleo and Mitsie, our youngest Fox Terrier, have become best buddies.

We are so grateful to have had the chance to bring her home. She has favourite spots around the house and one is a large glass bowl in the middle of the coffee table. When she's not snuggled up with one of us she is  often curled up in the bowl.   Deslie, Forest Gardens

KAYLA

I was lucky enough to find Kayla not long after my 17yo Burmese cat passed away.  I missed him terribly and hoped I could find another one soon.

I phoned the “cat rescue” people that I read about in the newspaper and they asked me what I was looking for.  I said I liked Burmese but any sort would have been OK.  I couldn’t believe it when I was told they had a part Burmese female about 8 months old who had recently come in.   She was scared and timid when I saw her, but oh what a pretty face and colouring.  She is now the most loving  and devoted cat and has settled in really well.

She follows me around everywhere.  She took her time accepting her new home and my other older cat.  It all progressed really well and she now really loves living here.  She is just a wonderful, wonderful cat and I am very glad I found her!      Amanda, Kuranda

SHELLEY

We went to Cat Rescue in October 2007 to adopt a kitten for our two-year-old daughter, but after many cuddles she fell in love with a two-year-old tabby called Shelley. It was love at first sight for my husband too! Shelley has the most gentle nature and is very affectionate, following us around the garden and enjoying ‘lap time’ at night in front of the TV. Her favourite sleeping spot is our daughter’s doll’s cradle where she can catch some afternoon sunshine. We are so amazed at her easy-going nature especially with boisterous children and a hyperactive Jack Russell! I would encourage anyone wanting to add more love and joy into their homes to visit Cat Rescue – Vanessa and Brian are sure to have the perfect cat for your family.

DIGIT

Digit (now Archie) is settling in fine.  As I type this email he is sitting next to my computer.  He has the weirdest little meow and way of talking to you.  He enjoys our house and is thoroughly checking everything out.  He has been playing with toys a bit so he is already playful and should enjoy playing with my two 4-month old kittens when he settles in more.  He loves walking in front of our feet so that we can’t get anywhere and he had fun clawing and playing with my feet during the night as I moved around under the sheets!

Thank you so much for all of your time and effort and for letting us share in his life.  We are very privileged.   Natasha, Gold Coast

SPOOK & GHOSTY

A year and a half have passed since we adopted Cilla (now Spook) and she is our lovely girl still. We had her desexed and she also has a new friend called Ghosty, a little grey kitten, whom Spook adores. Spook sleeps on our bed at night and is so precious to us. Spook and Ghosty play chasing games and follow us around, always inspecting and sticky beaking at what we are doing. I wish there were more people like you as the world would be a better place for all.

AL

We were so thrilled to find Al on the cat rescue website
having just lost our own black cat to an incurrable disease.
We knew we would be in for a long journey as Al had been
rescued and would have to leave the loving care of Vanessa
and Brian to be in a busy home.

The first week Al did not come out of his carrier,
then he migrated to the Laundry cupboard, we just left him
and after a few weeks of patience he ventured out.

This was the start of a happy new life for him, he is king
of the house, now thoroughly spoilt – he deserves it.
He has so much love to give back to us and each day is a further step on
his journey.

Marcel

Hi!!  Just an update on how Marcel is going...what a spoiled cat he is!!!  Marcel is absolutely fabulous and such a joy to have in our lives.  Biggest scardy cat I ever met (scared of the dark, birds and next door’s kitten) and has 2 best friends, a maltese X called Noah and a chihuahua x pomeranian called Sam. He is so settled and is just a happy cat and loves his baths.  Thank you so much for this wonderfull little cat!!      Cassandra – Mt Sheridan
